Greens join the IWW

apologies for the mispronunciation of the name. no excuse, but was totally exhausted. I've been working with the IWW since last summer in an attempt to unionize the jill stein staff. The IWW headquarters in Chicago, along with other fellow workers from around the country have been very welcoming.

The Green Party staffers will find the IWW is a great union to be a member of.

It's the "Industrial" Workers of the World not "International" Workers of World, that is redundant.

Although I have little faith in electoral politics and see it as a waste of time and resources I am very curious how this will play out. The IWW has taken a backseat in politics and refuses to endorse any party, candidate, or ideology. This raises some ethical concerns when it comes to unionizing the workers of a political party. Some have even said that the large and sudden influx of liberal members could dilute the revolutionary fervor of the IWW. However, at the same time, we could be underestimating the leftward swing in the U.S. and forget that many of the Greens are actually democratic socialists, not liberals. It is just as likely that the IWW radicalizes the new members. These workers also bring a ton of practical organizing skills that were developed on the campaign trail which could be a game changing asset to our union. With cautious optimism say, "Welcome to the struggle Green Party".
