How To Make Aesthetic Videos | Master The Art of Composition

In this video I'll show you all how to make Aesthetic videos so easy!

Last year I started shooting this 15-30sec postcards and in that I was reminded of going back to the basics of filmmaking. Someone said on my instagram that it's so much to learn when it comes to filmmaking and they didn't know where to start. I say start with the BASICS.

Social media can bombard you with sometimes too much information and so you aren't really starting from the beginning. Reel it back, start with just your camera, settings, lens and the basic art of composition and I promise you, your content will elevate. No matter if it's mundane content or branded content, from tik tok videos to youtube videos.

Composition is the foundation of storytelling and creating compelling visual content, without knowing these techniques you're really just shooting. Anyone can shoot beautiful content. But can it be everlasting, does it tell a story?

Hopefully these techniques help you all in the field as you grow and find space for the art you want to create!

Oh my gosh! 9:18 I keep rewinding and staring at this shot. Love everything about it: the different textures, the patterns in the metal/iron, the mysterious look in those brick arches, how the sky and water complement each other, the glow and & simplicity of how the lights just escort your eyes off into the distance, and on and on.

Mostly I can actually see myself there with a coffee and a pastry just staring off into the distance and enjoying the ambiance.
