I remember I was watching this match in school hostel. I was the only Dravid fan in my hostel.
Everyone was Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvraj fan because of their hitting style batting.
When Dravid came to bat in slog overs, everyone started to to say, " Ab 300 bhi nahi ban paayega. Dravid thuk thuk karega poore 5 over."

I said, " are dekho na Dravid aaj 50 maarega." but I was from inside like, " 20 gend me maximum 25 to maar hi dega"
and then When he hit 50, everyone lifted me on their shoulder out of joy. "Are tera Dravid to faad diya aaj."
And I was feeling that I was Rahul Dravid at that time.
What a time that was, the school days.

I really feel lucky that I have grown up watching players like dravid, Sachin, Ganguly, Kumble, shreenath and many more our future kids will not able to see how gentlemen use to play the gentlemen's game. What an era that was. Still miss those days and thrill of these kind of games

his adaptability towards game always amazes me...I have not seen this quality with any other player...he can play the throughout inning when wickets fell around him and great wall remind not out...he opens the inning when team was forced to follow on the same match...if batsmen were shortage he will take the extra responsibility of keeping which will cuisine to have one extra batsmen..ready to bat at any position...what more else team can expect from a player..sad to see that dravid deserves really more than what he has been recognised...
