This song hit me and my wife hard too. We both struggles with marriage I didn’t really like my wife and she didn’t know me enough. we just jump into marriage after 6 months of knowing each other. Our first five years was so tough as she enter motherhood and have to endure my mom and my siblings mentally abused. As I can only watch from the sidelines and do nothing. I know I should have defended her but I was torn between my family and my wife. And she still stay with me thought out the toxic stuff she went through. I don’t blame her as she was still young and I was still young. After ten years of marriage we finally separated ourselves from those toxic people. And our lives changed for the better. Some marriages must compromise with each others in order for the marriage to work. And with all the stuff my wife have been through has made her stronger and our relationship stronger. Hit me deeply. This song reminds me of my past. I am happy where I am at now. The past haunt me from time to time. I no longer love the past person but all the memories haunt me. I was in depression for two years which cause me to use sleeping aid and cannot sleep in the dark because I will have thoughts of death. I just want to say that I am okay and I have slowly moved on. He should be happy now so he doesn’t have to bear with me. I will be okay . I have slowly picked me up and I won’t fall again. It is truly a sensitive topic for those who struggle with conceiving and most of the time they struggle in silence due to being afraid of judgement. I hope that couples out there continue to fight for each other even when life gets tough, and regardless of the outcome I hope that couples also remain strong for one another in this tough journey. Remember that it takes two to make a baby, so learn to understand one another. <3
