I LOVE Liveship! I was hesitant leaving Fitz, the Fool, and Nighteyes for a whole trilogy, but I adored so many of the characters! I am on the last book of RotE, and Ship of Destiny is still one of my top 2 Hobb books.

My favourite trilogies are Farseer and Tawny Man, but yeah "Mad Ship" is the best of that trilogy. A lot of great reveals.
I read all of Abercrombie books, but unfortunately I didn't care for Shattered Sea. It has good moments though.

I picked up Half a King and want to get to it sometime this coming year. I am very interested in it for sure!
The rest of the Nevermoore books are on my list too, I loved book 1 and they have been fun to read with my daughter too

I loved Master of Djinn, but I've seen a lot of mixed reviews. I think a lot of people seem to be turned off by the fact that she is an investigator. I must be in the minority of liking detectives cause a lot of people I follow do not.
Also glad to hear you like the rights of magicians book. I haven't heard a lot of people talk about it.

You had me wanting to read Declaration already, but THERE'S A SEQUEL TOO?! Pine looks right up my alley. I'm going to get both or all three of those. I'm a broken record, but ah I love the Prydain books. Very much looking forward to the Winternight books.

The Contradictorian is right. The Return of the King does put that series into God Tier. Seriously, however great the movies are, they are merely an appetizer compared to the meal that is the books.
