I don't even play bass, but I love listening to your beginner videos. So relaxing. You're a great educator, Rich

Very much appreciate your teaching style. Took up the bass about 6 months ago in retirement and this beginners series has been exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for what you do. ✌️

I have been saving your beginner bass lessons in playlist and urge my subscribers to follow you as you are the only instructor that know how to teach this as down to earth and simple as possible. Thank you so much!

Playing this over and backwards then from c to b to a then g, f e. Makes a lot of sense and I can hear the notes where I go now. Thanks 😊

These beginner lessons are so good. Small bites that make it doable….to a degree. But I reckon it will take me 2 lifetimes to get your beautiful sound. That’s another level altogether.

I saw you in La Rochelle (France)with Steve Coleman, It was great. I love what you do. I love your groove, Can you show us a little more répétitive groove like you do with Steve . Thanks a lot!

I am enjoying your beginners series. I have reached lesson 11 and I have been able to follow from lesson 1 to 11. From having no experience playing the bass I am now playing the scales I feel very proud of my achievement and I know I am progressing well. Thank you very much you are teaching very well and at the right pace

Super great lesson❤

So easy to forget open strings on stage though, unless it's that deep open B 🙆🏾🤦🏾🙈

Holy Smokes - Finally, A lesson that I am actually aware of - Talk about feeling like a rockstar - As for the honesty, I doubt myself with the ability to recall all 10 lessons at this time - Example, I know that I would be unable to play the "RAMP" exercise from memory - However, if I rewatched these lessons in this series, but they would land comfortably under my finger tips compared to the first time I viewed them - Another fabulous episode my friend and I know that your mother would be very proud of you these days - When are going on the road again and will there be any streaming options ?

Go Team Human,
Cheers

Not a beginner but 3rd finger position on the root is pretty cool when adding the low G-F-E (5-4-3) and staying 1 finger/fret. I'm such a major scale 2nd finger on the root kinda stuff for beginners. Thanks Rich.

Two questions. How to become a member? Just donate to PayPal? Second. Where can I find the lesson on how you mute your strings? Just got a five string Squier Jazz Bass Black 2007? And loving your classes and exercises.
