I really hope this lands amazingly beautiful and can be reused quickly for more then one flight test so we don't have to wait for mk3 mk4 or mk5 if they don't exist as a finished product.

They're workin' fast, with urgency, like the raffle-ticket-for-your-life workers in When Worlds Collide (1951)!

I'll bet Red Green up at Possum Lodge can make the whole thing out of duct tape, used refrigerator parts, fins from a '57 Cadillac and a rebuilt lawnmower motor! And it would have a compartment that would still keep the beer cold because, as you know, there ain't any liquor stores up there and once you're in space, you might get thirsty!

What if it works? That would be great! Seems like a lot of his stuff works.

I hate that it looks like my 1970s metal garbage can that was hit by cars 30 times. But as a metal worker myself I understand that the slightest deviation in stainless steel will alter the reflection.

More dents and dings than a scrap car. Are we really expected to believe that is gonna go into space and survive a huge thrust and the van Allen belts?

Looks like someone's backyard project

There's a gap along each hinge between the fin and the hull -- are they going to cover that with something? Or is the vehicle supposed to descend through the atmosphere with air passing through that gap?

Say whatever you want about Elon Musk... There's no one else on earth with such a can do attitude.
I reckon this thing is gonna come back down as a fireball, haha. and I bet Elon has the same sentiment. Let's hope it's a total success... Good luck you crazy bastard...

How thick is that outer skin, my guess is it must be around 3mm to be fully welded out side and carry all that vertical wei8ght and I guess it is all stick welded being out side but that is very acceptable using stick welding.

I know it’s only a prototype and a test bed but it looks looks more rough and weatherbeaten every time I see it
