The way every tech company works now a days is they take an industry make and app out of it, run it at a loss by charging near nothing until the industry they were competing with goes belly up and then start charging what the old industry used to charge. I can only agree 90% of the way. Taxis were terrible before. Go to any city that has banned ride sharing and you'll see. Long unnecessary routes, rude behavior, shady charges, outright theft of baggage. There was zero accountability and every incentive to screw over a passanger.
