“Do I Hear You Saying” by Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra 1928
Vocalists: Bing Crosby, Al Rinker, and Charles Gaylord
Victor 21398-B

From the 1928 Broadway musical “Present Arms’.

This record is pretty worn and has a swish for the first few seconds. It also sounds a little dull overall which is likely from the condition of the record. Even with all that it contains a really nice Rogers & Hart tune.

One of my favorite forgotten Rodgers & Hart songs, with a beautiful lyric full of wonder (rare for the less-than-hopeful but brilliant Larry Hart).
