Yeah! Small EUCs are great. I wish there was some more manufacturer and community attention on them.

I love the 14D! Bought it instead of the Mten3 that was inside eWheels's container that went up on flames last January (no more Gotways for me since then).

Gave it to my daughter who uses it to go to school, only wheel that will fit in her locker.

I've replaced it with the 14S which I love even more. It's a bit less nimble, but still it's my goto wheel for commuting and shopping.

The slow speed is actually something I like about it. I set an alarm at 25, and that slower pace lets me use it with minimal gear, just a bike helmet and wrist guards. So handy and practical. It's even pretty water resistant, which is another reason I use it so much.

I love that you've done a review of the 14D! That's the one I also recommend to anyone who wants to learn. Even when they graduate to a more powerful wheel for sporty rides, it's still an excellent 2nd wheel to have. Cheapest way to get into the hobby!

14D was my first wheel and I still keep it because it’s a great little wheel. The only reason I upgraded was to gain longer range comfort, but at the expense of manoeuvrability. I also have an Mten3 for shopping amongst pedestrians and the S18 for longer trips. I actually love the 14D for off-road as it’s so easy to control at low speeds and has great torque (although I’m not a heavy rider). Thanks for reviewing this wheel as I’m sure new riders will find it useful to have a review that’s not just for high performance riders.

Hello,
So this will be my first wheel to start with. Thank you for this very precise and detailed video. She answers a lot of my questions. Your channel is really great, see you soon. 😉

My first wheel was a KS14S with 840wh. It could do 60km on one charge with its 800w motor, and I thought that 30 km/h was more enough. I'm now riding an 18incher from Gotway that makes 50km/h a breeze, but I really did like the kingsong. The only thing that was awful was that 30 km/h top speed. I reckon that if it had gone to 35 I would have upgraded later. It still is a great commuter wheel.

Thank you for this video. The scene has changed a ton in the last few years and while huge powerful wheels have their purpose, it almost feels like the smaller wheels are seen as irrelevant simply because (a) no one talks about them anymore (b) no new models.

I understand that (b) makes it easy to lead to (a) but it doesn't have to be that way as you're showing with this video 😊

I think the new InMotion V8S is an awesome solution for portability and range. Small wheels definitely have a big market and I suspect once we get over the "race to the top", manufactures will begin looking at these again. Great video :)

I own this model and I love it so much. Helps to make my life easier. especially when i need to walk quite far to get to my car or even throw trash outside. It is really portable. The torque is quite good also.

Hoping to see more videos like this. Already glad to hear about a potential v8s video since I've been trying to decide between that, the kingsong 16s, or maybe something else for quite a while. Its great to see the hype behind all the new powerhouse wheels coming out, but as someone who want's to get into the hobby after only riding a v5f for a while, I'd love to see more content around some of the intermediate wheels out there. Even if the models have been around a while I would love to see a "How does it perform in 202X" kind of video.

My first wheel! 14D is so convenient and portable, amazing power for it’s size.

You said it! My MCM5 is still one of my favorite wheels to this day! Great video 🤟

My first wheel was the 16s. I've bought and sold many wheels but I've always kept that one. It's really good for walking the dog because it's so easy to control. 😜

I learned to ride on a 16S and that one took a beating. Even after all the falls, the shell was still in better shape than my MCM5 which has taken far less abuse. And the small Kingsong wheels have the best trolly handles of any wheel I've used - by far.

I think there is absolutely a place for the smaller, lightweight wheels. For a very large, but I suspect less vocal group of the riders out there, these wheels are the best solution. I started with a V8f, and have always been very, very happy with it for my particular use case, clearly I’m not the only one as the V8 series is probably the all time best seller. However I do agree that many of these wheels really do need serious upgrades now.. it would be really nice to have more modern replacements for these old favourites before too long. And yes, let’s hope that the EUC makers don’t forget about the market for smaller wheels.

Awesome look at the lil Kingsong.. and nice to see a sturdy lil wheel that outdoes some of the bigger names for build quality for sure. Thanks for sharing!

I have v8f and its borderline perfect! good motor, decent speed, waterproof and really portable. I feel like it's the perfect beginner and back up wheel. The problem with small euc is that once you move from beginner to somewhat intermediate, the speeds are just too low.

Fun review! about the battery brand and model(from ewheels site): 420Wh pack has the LG MJ1 3.5Ah cells, for a combined capacity of 420Wh; while the 340Wh has the Panasonic PF 2.9Ah cells, totalling 340Wh.

I own the kingsong S 18 also Inmotion V 12 which I’ve had some problems with that one replace the controlledboard then I was updating the firmware and the main board took a dump I just purchased this King song 14 D and the reason is I am an over the road truck driver and it seems like it’s small enough where I can take it with me so when I get to a motel somewhere I’m not stuck eating whatever food they have or don’t have I can cruise down the street get a bite to eat have all fun before I go to sleep can’t wait to get it I just ordered it from eWheels arrives in three days

The ks 14s was my first wheel. It's still an awesome wheel and I still ride it occasionally. The s model is worth the price for the extended range. It is also excellent for off roading.

Thank you for reviewing smaller wheels. I am still on my KS16s and loving it!
