Carter mini talon go kart vertical shaft engine?!

Hey I just got one of these used for my kids. And just like you was blown away how the engine turns the wheels. Our runs but it has no torque or power. Please do you have a video showing the engine swap? Thanks 👍 it took me an hour to find this exact model and setup

I just picked 1 up and engine starts, but the friction disk is done. And i cant find replacement disc
