Thank you for this!!! Saved my life. So frustrated just bought a new chainsaw and I couldn't get it started. This worked like a charm. I did have to pull probably 20 times when in the warm start position. I am sure I flooded it initially, had no idea I was doing that. Thanks very much!

Thank you so much very straight forward and informative. Thank you. I learned moderate- and cold-weather starting from my local Stihl dealership. In 100ᐤ summer weather, full choke only floods my saw. My MS291 is starting fine now in the heat when I use half choke.

Stihl 391 absolutely a terrible piece of equipment. It is absolutely impossible to start once it’s warm. I have had a dozen other Stihl products and never had this issue. Same every time. Starts when it’s cold no problem once it’s warm impossible to get restarted. Do not buy the 391
