5 WAYS TO FIND MOTIVATION & FEEL INSPIRED *even in tough times*
As I was starting to feel covid-tired & seeing people around me feel the same way, I decided to share the tips I am focusing on in order to stay motivated and find inspiration - even when working from home - even when many days feel alike - even when you wake up with low energy. I hope you'll find this video helpful!

I feel lucky Justine records in English, even though French is the first language. We're lucky to have her sharing with us. 😉

I've heard someone recently say that motivation comes from acknowledgement💜
Got up and had a shower? Well done
Made yourself a beautiful meal? Well done
Cleaned your bathroom? Well done

Found this really helpful. Loved this video, Justine. Lots of love x

Pets are helpful - my cat has been so happy to have me around more, and I’ve found so much love and comfort from her. I have been gardening, which I really enjoy, and harvesting my own food is awesome!

I had a brief social distancing visit from an older friend the other day. I could see as soon as she got out of her car and walked towards me that during this quarantining she has aged physically by what appeared to be 10 years. This made me realize how i have been affected too. I am physically exhausted, like walking through mud for the last 5 months. I'm sure this is a symptom of lack of socializing, lack of exercise, lack of having something meaningful or stimulating to do, and the effects of seeing no near end to this isolation and boredom.

I'm actually doing really good in lockdown. I suddenly have time for every thing. Being a student, that's a privilege. Im drawing, writing and doing a lot of creative things while studying and being productive.( Maybe I'm biased because I'm not very social.)

Ive had 3 months where I couldnt do anything while waiting for test results for a potentially serious health crisis. Now I know I'm not going to suddenly drop dead I am back to sewing. Converting an old army surplus greatcoat into a winter coat. Ive also taken up the cello.

Lockdown in Italy was the hardest one in Europe. We still are shocked. We keep on going on as good soldiers. I agree with you, we must breathe and help ourselves with nature, sea, mountains, trees and slow down. We missed you, stay safe dear Justine. Better times will come.

Many people in the comments say your video gives friendly vibes. And I felt them too. The way you asked "How are you?" at the beginning was so genuine and kind. Thank you, Justine, it means a lot during this turbulent times.

Getting in touch with nature, and yes, especially hiking in the mountains, is indeed a great way to feel better, free, peaceful and "lighter" on soul

I must say a little something here. Being the kind of person who, for a long long time, has always thought that I'm responsible for my failures and successes, I feel a need to say that true control is in balance. Because when everything is to blame on something OUTSIDE, you never do engage properly, because you think it's all up to faith, BUT... when you put all the responsibilities inside yourself, then you get the illusion that you can manage anything that's thrown at you. I had that illusion, it hurts a lot. The path is somewhere in between, or better yet, oscillating from one to the other as needed. I can't go out and touch nature and that's not my fault: I live in Brazil, and a lot is out of control here. So, yes, there's that, and knowing it can't stop me from trying to get some motivation, but it does affect my abilities to do so. Gotta find balance on the two ways of thinking.

All so true: my garden has never looked better, it is my oasis. Stared cloud watching - lay down on my back lawn and watch the skies! painted old fence slats with unwanted nail polish and started an online Opera Harvard free course. Stay well

I took up kayaking! I live on quite a large lake and each time I go out I try to go to a place I have not been before. I've explored so many beautiful coves and seen such a wide array of wildlife. It's so peaceful, but it's good exercise as well! My little kayak has been so helpful and healing during this crazy time.

My mum used to tell me “boredom is the mother of creativity” IM I think it’s true, sometimes we need to be bored to get inspired...

Justine, it is so priceless to have such a person like you in my life. (so what if only online, haha). I mean you are very pleasant and I always feel more calm when I see you. Wish you the best energy and the best and most supportive people/events/things around. Merci de bien vouloir for all.

I loved when you said "my little human thoughts"! And the cricket noises at the end, vraiment sublime!

I totally agree with getting out of routine, trying things you’ve never tried before. Don’t multitask. Do things with presence. Get bored. Journal everyday. I’m also reading all the books that I’ve always wanted to read.
