Attention!!! You have a mistake there. That power resistor is 10k/5W not 10R/5W.

Интересное видео! Только не понятен один момент: На видео (4:10) на резисторе написан номинал 5 ватт. 10 килоом, а автор ниже написал 5 ватт, 10 (R)- это же 10 Ом...

4:12 Этот резистор точно на 10 Ом? По-моему, там 10 кОм.
Неплохо было бы схему на бумаге показывать, чтобы люди пытались понять, а не слепо повторяли.

Опасно для жизни !
У преобразователя нет гальванической развязки от сети - приклсновение к любым оголённым проводам данной конструкции может привести к поражению электротоком !
