The old 24-35 f2 is also a classic. What people miss when talking about this 28-45 is that it's about as sharp a their 40mm prime, but it has a little zoom in both ways and it's lighter!

Nice lens but would be nice if it were 24mm and upwards. 24-50mm for example. Would have killed off 24/35/50mm f1.4 lenses. I really like to use 24mm for video at events.

Very interesting the cold war between Sigma and Nikon still going on strong from the day when Nikon humiliated SIgma left and right back in the F mount days.

I am really glad to see Sigma doing premium products, really gives all the first party lens makers some real competition.

I myself own the Sigma 35 & 40 art F mount.

For me the 2.8 28-105 offers far more utility - one f stop at the low end doesn’t make much of a difference at all to the work I do

Sigma has a 17-35 f1.8 and 50-100 f1.8 for aps-c dslrs. Sigma also made a 50-150 f2.8 for aps-c as well. None of these lenses have Sigma's Optical Stabilization built into them.

I love my sigma 18-35mm 1.8 sigma lens. 30 years ago i would never buy one but they have come a long way.
