How to IDENTIFY SPAM Emails! (Safe Computing 201)

Показать описание
In this video, I show you several ways to identify email as potential spam, so you can practice SAFE COMPUTING and keep from getting your computer infected.
This video was shot entirely using Camtasia, and my OLD video camera as a webcam (that’s why the face frame – grrr!), and the great voice audio was from the Plantronics headset listed below.
UPDATE!!! I Figured It Out! I figured out how to turn off the facial recognition feature on the Sony PJ260 I now use as a webcam, and so for future screencast videos like this one, you won't be seeing that pesky moving square around the face of whoever is speaking to the camera! HOOORAY! Hey, I'm always looking for ways to make this videos better for you, the viewers!

MY AUDIO EQUIPMENT:
I now use this combination to get outstanding audio, which I then sync in post to the videos.
This is my choice for when I record voice directly into Audacity.
This captures GREAT voice sound during screencast recordings; it records the voice directly into the screen recording.
MY VIDEO EQUIPMENT:
I use a camcorder instead of a DSLR because I often record live shows of more than an hour, and a DSLR has a 30-minute shoot limit. The camcorder does not.
This is a VERY LIGHTWEIGHT camera – less than 1 pound (my version is a 2011 model PJ260V) – that still shoots great HD video. This is the camera I carry when on vacation with my family because of how lightweight and easy it is to carry all day long. It takes great stills as well as video. The only drawback is the only output format is .m2ts. I now also use this camera as a webcam, along with the following two items.
I use these two items to connect my decade-old Sony Handycam as a webcam; it works great and I now have ZOOM capability on the webcam!
Super tiny portable, with HD and wide-angle lens. Great for those crazy-angle shots you can’t get any other way.
This has amazing video capabilities, especially when paired with the next item.
The iPhone 8+ BARELY fits into this, but it provides no-screen-touch controls for zoom, focus, frame rate, and much more. If you have an iPhone NOT a plus model, it should work even better. If you know of a better gimbal for a larger smartphone like the 8+, please let me know.
SOFTWARE:
Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve (free)
Adobe Premiere Pro (not free)
* Audacity (free)
Irfanview (free)
