Don't mean to disrespect the doctor. There is conjugated and unconjugated billirubin. If your billirubin is high it is extremely important to know which one is high. Is the red blood cell broken up prematurely, or is the issue with the kidney. Most cases of high billirubin are not associated with the Gilbert disease.

Eversince I took TUDCA 500MG 2 times a day for 2-3 days, I got high bilirubin! I can't make it down as it used to be! Now I'm thinking of taking activated charcoal. What is that "lack of enzyme"?!! This is not totally true. The hight bilirubin is destroying the gut lining and creating leaky gut. I struggle with this one and now I have fructose and lactose intolerance just because the doctors said you don’t need to worry.
If you have hight bilirubin i good to lower it quickly as you can
