How to install Hampton Bay low voltage outdoor lighting. I used LED low voltage outdoor lights,a 120watt low voltage transformer, and low voltage wire
Low Voltage lighting using:
-Hampton Bay LED color changing spotlights 3pack. These are Bluetooth enabled and can be turned on/off and color can be changed using an app on your phone. FYI the QR code that you have to scan to add the each spotlight to the app can also be found on the bottom of each light. You're welcome!
-Hampton Bay transformer.
I used 120W for my specific wattage needs. You may require a smaller or larger watt transformer depending on the amount of watts you're placing on your line.
-landscape cable. In this video I used "line" "cable" and "wire" interchangeably. Though technically "wires" are inside the "line"or "cable." Clear as mud?!😜 I used 12/2 cable and felt just a bit more credible walking through the hardware store with my cable spool😜
*I didn't cover programming your transformer or setting up the photocell in this video but felt the packaged instructions did a decent job. Personally I preferred to use the timer instead the photocell. Also these lights display the last setting they were programmed to. You don't have to reset them after they've been off.

Nice set up and I’ve never seen the liquid tape cool. So can you set a time on transformer with connecting to Bluetooth?

Great info. Reason for using liquid tape instead of electrical tape?

This was the type of video I was looking for! I was specifically trying to find more information on waterproofing/protecting the connection points between the landscape wire and the lights. Thank you for telling us about liquid electric tape!
