It was because of this video that I decided I ABSOLUTELY NEEDED the Marant Knowles boots. I found a pair on Fashionphile in excellent condition for a very reasonable price (black w/ red laces)- they are super comfortable & I am SO IN LOVE with them! I live in the U.S., in a climate where it never gets colder than about 20F in wintertime, but it still occasionally snows (& when it does, the whole state loses their collective minds 🙄) so I know I'll get to wear them a lot in winter 22-23.

I completely understand what you mean about this time of year when you live in a cold climate. (Living in freezing Detroit.). The last few years I’ve decided that winter is my time to declutter the house, clean the house, do house projects. And then the warm months I will not feel guilty at all about spending all the time outside relaxing, reading, socializing, taking the kids places, etc. and not being productive at all. That way I feel good and efficient about the very long cold months ahead.

I like more minimal purchases. I'd rather see a couple solid pieces, but I personally hate hauls. Love when you mix high with low end price points. I find too much of luxury can look heavy or over done.

I live in a suburb of Buffalo so I definitely feel what you mean about not being motivated this time of year. When the temp is the high of 10° Fahrenheit daily activity is low.
