When hyuna and somi leave, jype released a statement and separate amicably but for jinni there's little information giver. Most likely she was kicked out due to breaking rules.

JYP contracts are so hard to get out of. She was definitely kicked. I'm sure if she chose to leave she would have the same stage name, they can't trademark a name! She was obviously kicked and was scared jyp would take legal action against her for having the identical stage name.

Honestly I always wondered how Jini got out of a contract with JYP of all labels.

I dont wish this true, but being kicked out for dating makes the most sense. JYP wouldnt stand in her way for her future endeavors, and she would be allowed to leave and join a new company.

I hope that if it was dating, that the person she was/is dating makes her happy.

1)JYP has a policy in place where they don’t speak negatively on artists whose contracts have ended-speculate all we want even if she WAS kicked out-they would never confirm that.

2)It is actually not uncommon for idols contracts to be up at different times. Yes there are groups like TWICE, Stray Kidz, IZ*ONE, Kep1er where all of the members of that particular group have the same contract but that’s because they’re from survival type set ups where they obtained their contracts specifically for the formation of the group. More often than not agencies have several trainees and will often take trainees who started training at different times to place them in the same group. This is completely dependent on the contract the idol has at the time they sign with the agency.

3)Jini’s contract could have expired prior to the comeback planned after DICE. Yes she debuted with NMIXX but that doesn’t actually mean she joined JYP at the same time as the other members nor does it mean she has the same contract as them. This could be a situation where her contract was nearing its end, and she opted not to renew it. Think of how people would react if JYP came out and said “Actually Jini signed with JYP 3 years prior to being selected for NMIXX and she only had a 5 year contract. They trained and prepared for their debut and prior to the comeback planned after DICE her contract was up for renewal. Jini decided to opt out of the renewal and pursued solo activities with a new agency instead.-

4)Somi herself confirmed that JYP will generally let an artist leave their contract and continue to perform as idols. She herself got out of her contract with JYP after IOI’s disbandment because she wasn’t happy with the direction they were moving her in nor was she in agreement with the plans they had for her as an artist. They released her from her contract and she herself admitted she was not necessarily nice in the way she was reacting to what was going on after IOI and was rude and bratty and JYP has still never said anything negative about her even though by her own words they certainly could and would’ve been within their rights to do so.

It’s common for JYP to state the idol is leaving the company for “personal reasons” when they really got kicked out. It happened for Jay Park in 2pm for his bad reputation at the time (literally the whole country hated him), the guy from day6 for allegedly breaking the dating ban and dating a fan/fansite, the guy from SKZ i personally think there was just bad blood and personal issues between the members and maybe outside things, and now Jini and I personally think she probably broke the dating ban. Everyone else who left jyp or the group was always given an explanation more than “personal reasons” it’s like a PR move to make it a open secret and still give the fans something and be left in the dark

I mean It’s pretty obvious from the way she was acting on her last day, and the way that members of acted that she didn’t leave on her own accord, no matter how much JYP wants us to think that it’s very obvious that she was kicked out

Probably did break a rule, I remember when Jay Park had to leave 2PM because of comments her made in the past about Korea before he debuted, some person found his social media posts and blasted him, JYP didn’t even help really in the situation, but now Jay Park is one the most popular/successful rappers in KPOP having his own company, own songs, etc, I believe Jini/Jinni will do fine in the future as a solo artist never know
