Great guidance, but, yes, the music should be on lowest volume 😉

Thank you for your video's they have helped me a great deal. I have unRAID 6.6.2 and they have changed the PCIe ACS override from yes/no to What do you recommend?

Nice video but it sucks to have the background music so loud as it competes with your speech and I could noit finish the video.

Is there a way to port from VM to Physical? I want to setup and test in a hypervisor then deploy to physical for both clean testing and ability to deploy to multiple systems (right now I'm looking at Rasp Pi deployments).

Good video as far as it goes. I am trying to do a Linux Mint VM and could get it all following the video. However what isn't obvious to me is "what next". I am coming from VirtualBox on Windows where you have a graphic environment and the VM just starts up in a graphical window. It seems that I need to "remote in" to the VM in Unraid's case. Is that possible from my windows desktop? If so how? My UnRaid startup went from about 100 seconds to about 200 seconds just by turning on the VM so I am assuming that I have a VM up (though not yet set up obviously). So "what next?"

Great stuff! Your series is definitely helping me get prepared for my unRaid purchase and a dive into servers. I did notice however that you were only able to select VDisk for the VMs. Is that how you primarily want to do it vs giving each VM their own HDD? Would it be wise to get single larger SSD to be able to install VMs on at that point?

first of all thank you for all the time you take to make your guides has made my experience with unraid almost hassle free. I used rsync for dropbox but the delay for the files is to long so i though of using an ubuntu destop to do the full sync so i have all the files on the server. i am running 6.6.7 i setup a share just for dropbox files and used the share pass though in the vm settings but i am not seeing the share in the vm instance i thought doing it this was would make it show as a local mount to do a full sync. i think i am missing a step somewhere. the current settings are Unraid Share:/mnt/user/Dropbox/ Unraid Mount tag: if you have already done this in a video my apologies i have watched most of them and did not see this covered.

How about a video about using "unassigned devices" plugin to install a VM outside of the cache array and why you might want to do this.

Is there an updated version of this video with quieter music?

Where did you get all the great looking Unraid icons? I am using Unraid 6.7.2 and all I have are black and white icons. Also, thank you for the awesome work. I have learned so much about unraid from you.

I am probably just missing it but why would i want a gaming setup in my server if it is just going to be in a rack?

Why the background music is louder than the voice?

Hi again, would I be right in saying a VM will perform quicker if domain share is stored on cache ssd?

can you share 1 port to multiple VMs? say for example if i have software that requires a USB key and i want to share that between VMs without unplugging it. is that possable?
