Great movie called Driving Miss Daisy. She doesn’t like him at first mostly cause she doesn’t want to admit she can’t drive herself anymore, but as time goes on they grow to be best friends.

I would never feel comfortable calling an older gentleman anything other than “sir”. Until someone gives me a reason not to, I was taught to be respectful always to any of my elders. I always go to hold the door open for them and I have had the sweetest older men give me the biggest smiles and say the nicest things to me in return, and if they’re wearing any kind of hat or something that states they are a veteran I try to thank them for their service. Especially the Vietnam veterans. I always hope that I don’t come off patronizing or anything I just genuinely want to show my respect and appreciation, I just really can’t imagine showing disrespect to those that came before us.

Can't believe I found this!! The moment I realized this movie, it turned my memory right back to my nostalgic middle school days. Our literature teacher used to show us movies during the class, and this was one of them. I was too young to understand these timeless classics, but now I miss those times so much every time I am reminded. Thank you Mrs. Bowman.. you gave us a great class.

Not much of an appearance but nonetheless, this is a fantastic movie, highly recommend
