Compost Heap, a 39 Day Time-lapse

This is my compost heap over a 39 day period. I took one picture every 30 seconds. With this being October, halloween is an obvious theme.

@RowseyFilms - Yeah thats funny. I couldn't tell by watching that it ever rained either. I think it must have at least a little. The compost heap is under some trees and the camera was under a little housing that I made. There is a link to some pics of in the video information section.

first of all the camera is waterproof but it never got wet because of the little roof I built for it. I will put a link to a post on my blog with pictures of the set up in the information section for this video. Or just look for my blog: henry's webiocosm blog. It is a fairly recent post.

@clissy08 - The camera I used was a Pentax Optio W90. The intervalometer works in Auto flash mode so the camera used the flash at night and no flash during the day. I have a link to my blog post with pictures of the set up and more information in the video information section above.

You should really do a video of something growing~~~
Like a tree, or a flower! From as early as possible, that would be so cool! I tried to search for some time laps trees and there are so little videos like that..

@jman3267 - No I just periodically turn them over with the rest of the material in the heap.

Do you pull the plants out of the heap from time to time?
