What the Danish Shock Title Decision Could Mean for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Archie and Lilibet

Queen Margrethe, the Danish monarchy, has made a bombshell announcement regarding royal titles, and one that could have a big impact on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their children, Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince Joachim's children will be demoted from Princes and Princess to
Counts and Countess. It was a decision she made to give them the best opportunity to thrive without the burden of the Danish crown and monarchy.

Though it was a decision made with the family, some members aren't too pleased.

But this decision follows a trend that a lot of the royal houses across Europe have adopted. It means limiting prince and princess titles to those only in the immediate line of succession.

As the line of the British crown will go through Prince William and not Prince Harry, King Charles has even more leverage to deny Archie and Lili royal titles.

To broaden the point though, throughout all these other countries, no other children have been bashing their family and their Monarchy over the last 4 years. I personally feel that megan and harry should be stripped of ALL titles and nothing absolutely nothing for their children as well.

Archie and Lilibet shouldn't have prince or princess titles as their parents denied the public any transparency surrounding their birth details ... we don't want to know about them. H&M can keep their children to themselves!

The children have no knowledge of what it's like to be part of the BRF. How will giving them titles benefit the UK??

Did H&M not say originally that they didn't want titles?

I agree with you, Brittany. Charles should go ahead and start his kingdom setting up the precedant that if you dont work and/ or colaborate with the BRF, then you basically do not deserve the benefits of being part of them.

It makes no sense for Archie and Lili to be given any meaningful titles. Their births are clouded in mystery, they live in the USA and have no connection to the UK, they don't know their Royal family, they are not in the direct line of succession, their parents are hostile to the Royal household and will almost certainly use the titles to promote themselves.

King Charles’ grandchildren living in America do not even deserve the titles of Lord or Lady, Count or Countess. They are a Master and Miss, just like every other American. Their parents quit, spit on the family, attempted to blackmail them and have continued to do so w/o any intention of stopping. No titles, period. The fact that it “hasn’t been addressed” means it actually HAS BEEN addressed. It’s Master and Miss and when they grow up, being raised gender fluid each one can figure out who is the Master and who is the Miss. Or, will they both decide to be Masters or even Misses or maybe they will decide to be MasMisses🤷🏻‍♀️

The Denmark Royal Family also has a commoner who married a Prince. The Beautiful Princess Mary, from Australia 🇦🇺& Denmark loves her . Princess Mary learnt the language & love of the people.They visit Australia for holidays & there’s never been a problem with paparazzi, they just blend in.

I hope Harry and hags kids get NO titles at all. They live in America and we don’t recognize titles here. It might de different if they lived in England and were brought up being groomed to be working royals, but they are not and don’t deserve the titles.

I think its a wise move by the Queen, it's important that they all become independent from the crown because goodness knows how much longer monarchies will survive. It also makes the line of succession extremely clear.
