This alleged instructional video without any protective equipment (gloves) is a joke and should be banned. Just a little note. I know that not all universities have the same financial resources.Nevertheless, you should try to maintain the value of the devices you have by cleaning them at least every now and then. There is millimeter thick dust on this vacuum pump. There are connecting rods in this vacuum pump that move the vacuum membrane. If too much dust gets into the ball bearings, the pump is history.
