Tacticwise this is a solid analysis! Basketwise there are some factors forgotten that need to be mentioned. Final Four games are unique and kind of different games than regular season and playoffs. Experience and managing emotions counts much and Oly is at a higher level not only as a team this year with many experienced final four players but as a club in recent and old history. Monaco on the other hand, super athletic team but never been in a final four. That doesn't mean they can't win the game. But if the game is close till the end don't be surprised if experience plays a much more crucial role in the final result than all the rest mentioned

Now, after the match, we all can understand how surprised we were all to see such an athletic peripheral defense, in the 3rd period, from Olympiacos. Nevertheless, in these matches it's not only the shooting night but also (if not the most basic of everything) the unexpected, that makes the difference. Great coaching from Bartzokas.

The problem with Mike James is his mentality. Not his skills. At the end of the game with oly, instead of being unified he makes an individualistic comment. "I am the star of the team and I should have been taking the ball first in the 3rd period". NBA mentality of the star and not collective team work. That's why he'll never win and why he would never play for olympiakos.
