Of all the Slipknot acoustic ballads and even the Stone Sour acoustic stuff, Vermilion Pt. 2 has always been my favorite. The Subliminal Verses as a whole is just a genius album, always has been my favorite album of theirs. Them taking a more melodic approach as opposed to their first 2 albums and diversifying their writing, adding in more leads and technical playing, this album pushed Slipknot into a whole new territory.
For whatever reason, my Fishman has decided to become a mess of static and unplayable. I don't know what happened to it. It was fine one day and became all static the next. It's not the cable, it's not the guitar, it's something internally in the amp that went. I'll have to open it up and try and figure it out when I get the chance so I recorded this old-school style. No amp, just the acoustic with a mic and that's it. I miss having my chorus though. :(
