Always buy bigger than you need becaus inevitably you will need the power and be more versatile! Soalr panels, you are spot on!

Massey makes better sense. More versatile. Nothing against McCormick, per se, but having the extra potential is worth it.
And, yes, if you’re going to have a massive wharehouse, put solar on it.

Completely agree with the solar panels, also have rain water capture tanks and use it for toilet flushing.

Yes all big warehouses should have solar and some sort of water reclamation system. All council buildings as well ima. The tractor looks like a good all rounder.

You know it makes sense! It's a well spec'd machine, plenty of power, but still small enough for tight farms.

Light, wide tires, many gears in working speeds, and plenty of power. Perfect farm tractor. Great visibility too. Safe choice Tom 😊

You should get the Massey, buy the tele-handler (Deichi?) you have on demo. And, absolutely giant warehouse buildings and car parks should have solar on them. It just makes sense.

Get it bought Tom, ideal all round machine & fully specced too. Will go well round your yard & be plenty man enough to pull a silage trailer through the summer!

Absolutely fantastic tractor, McCormick are cheaper, you get what you pay for, I have had both and the Massey is way better and more stable and resell able.the day you buy the day you sell as we say in Ireland

We bought a 2nd hand 5713 this year, awsome tractor plenty of poke on the feeder fits around sheds. Haven't looked back at all. Good luck with er tom

In Australia we have a bit of a different situation where solar panels on sheep farms are increasing productivity with providing shade, dew run off and shelter for sheep and grasses underneath and between them. Otherwise wholeheartedly agree with solar on roofing and car parks, so much 'dead' space that could be utilised better.

It's definitely a yes to tractor right size good power. Solar panels should be on every big shed /warehouses time it will be for shed

There's always a place for a drop nose massey in my heart.👍
It would be nice to see you in something that's the right shade of red.

I would say yes to that Massey. Reasons I'd say Dyna 6 do love a 6 not 4 and further down the line you could throw a loader on her. Go for it Tom

Tom there is an old saying that can be applied to most aspects of life.

“Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.”

It’s always better to think ahead and be prepared for what you may need in the future. Besides, giving how most things are increasing in price, even used equipment, you’d be saving money by buying the bigger one now rather than a year or two down the line when you may actually need the extra horse power.

Agree with your comment on the solar panels. The Massey looks excellent, you should buy it if you get a good deal.

I agree wholeheartedly about the solar panels. Never understood why we don't do it. I get we don't get the same amount of sun but it would still benefit. Especially with a big warehouse.

Looks like it’s perfect for what you’re wanting to do with it. Size, power and all the bell’s and whistles that make it versatile around the farm. Go for it if you can get a good deal from Mary!!
