Also, for choosing curriculum check your area for a homeschool store. We have an amazing homeschool shop in my city where you can buy new and consigned curriculum and resources, so you can see them, compare them, and in some cases even get them gently used. I know many places don’t have that, but I had no idea ours existed until I was searching online, so it might be worth checking into. 😃

Abby I’ve been following you for a few years and sadly keep missing these Q&A videos.
Anyway I am a more seasoned homeschooler but have a question for a fellow mama. I would like to be a bit more scheduled and less unschooled or fly by the seat of my pants. I ordered some curriculum this year that’s a bit different from our norm. I got AAR & AAS along with a new math and a new nature study curriculum along with wanting to try and book of centuries. Here’s my problem I now have to familiarize myself with all these things and feel so overwhelmed with all these new things. I know 90% of our curriculum is open and go but I still feel like I’m never really prepared because we have multiple kids and lots of new stuff. Any advice for me on integrating new stuff and feeling prepared to teach newer types? Still reading through the charolette mason volumes and now I feel I’m way behind because I have so much curriculum to prepare for using. I usually end up tossing it all and just flying by the seat of my pants. I don’t want to do that again. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated 💕

Hey Abby I run my husband's business during the day and I am trying to navigate those waters. Do you know of any YouTube moms that do that are that maybe have advice for me for that. If school isn't done 1st thing for us it never gets done this is my 5th year homeschooling but 1st year running a brick and mortar store and homeschooling
