British classic Land Rover series 3 109 campervan

Welcome to the sale of my Land Rover 109 series 3 HCPU, Hi-capacity pick up, camper van.
I wanted to gather a real practical classic, a true multipurpose vehicle yet retain its classic Land Rover lines and appeal. Please take a look around my vehicle and enjoy my detailed video tour.
This truck is in quite exceptional condition having just had a re-paint and full mechanical service, she starts first time and drives very well.
As I am sure you are aware, these HCPU series 3’s are a very rare truck, having researched with DVLA linked How many left website I can confirm there are only 15 vehicles taxed and on the UK roads and 42 vehicles are sorned, 57 in total !! They are very rare indeed!!
My truck has obviously had no expense spared over its years, I suspect it hasn’t seen real hard work as it has reasonably straight and corrosion free panels, please watch my detailed video tour to confirm.
I felt this was the ideal base for a camper conversion, the hi-cap rear tub has 25% more load area than a standard 109, with a little thought and ingenuity I have gathered a great camper living space.
The speedo is reading 15500 miles, I cannot confirm this mileage, however with old MOT certificates I can confirm that this truck has covered only 1200 miles since May 2009.
The interior is very original retaining its County style head lining and cloth seats, it does show wear, however it would tally with a low mileage vehicle, again please take a good look at my video to confirm it cleanliness and originality.
The all important chassis has been replaced with galvanised, it is very well covered with Waxoil, I can confirm the chassis is in fabulous condition, I don’t have paperwork to back up its replacement, however again please watch the video, it clearly show’s the galvanise by the steering box.
Mechanically sound, I can confirm there is no play in any steering or suspension joint, the front axle still retains its leather covers over the spheres, it also has near new tyres inc the spare, every level has been topped up and greased, it has copper brake pipes throughout, all equating to a no advise note MOT.
The engine is a 2.3 non turbo, 5 bearing Land Rover engine with the later CAV type fuel pump, Lucas ACR alternator, again every lubricant and filter has been replaced, anti freeze topped up, even the oil in the air filter replaced. The battery is reasonably new. The transmission all works as it should, again every oil level topped up, each grease nipple greased.
