Networth is a really good way of telling how much many a person has bc it includes your cars, house, investments, shares bassically anything the person owns plus their bank ballance

If you calculate your investments properties and importantly life insurance a lot of people are millionaires but don't realise 👍

Everything is true apart from the end.
Net worth doesn't tell you how much money someone has and it is often quite inaccurate.
Some investments are difficult to evaluate and hard to liquify.

You cannot count invested money towards millionaire status. You don't have those money, you own some other stuff that must sold to get that money. If you cannot pay with it, it is not money.

THIS!!!! I have A LOT of money (got lucky as hell during the pandemic in investments, also GMC lol...) anyway, I take out some extra cash here and there since the return is greater than the amount I take out. But everytime I try to explain why I live with a budget/ "not as luxury as I can" IS BECAUSE OF THEY'RE INVESTED!!! investments = no money now, money future
