actually have the financial means to sustain that lifestyle.

Many people like to flex and buy things that they can’t afford to impress people they don’t know.

Don’t be like those people, dress in what makes you feel the most comfortable, and save/invest the difference.

This is an iconic story where the prince of India went to a rolls Royce dealer in civilian clothes, and a employee said he didn’t have enough money. So he came back in his royal outfit, brought every car in the dealership and sent them to India to be used as street sweepers. It tarnished the companies reputation, and they sent him a letter asking if he could stop using them, saying the employee would be told off.

EDIT: It is unknown if the story is true or not, and I made a mistake saying it was the prince of india, however it was an unspecified king of india.
