Heres a funny idea: the reason all the aliens seem to have a strange reverb to their voices is because your character, thus you are hearing them through an language translation device. You're not actually hearing garrus's voice, you're hearing a translation. So id imagine this conversation without it would sound more like:
Garrus: Tr, 'vac nedkkvrn yheb hfhf knch nae?
Joker: i give up
Garrus: mrkabi!😂

It’s little things like this really flushed out the world of the Mass Effect games and the dynamics between the characters. There’s so much going on in the background that really does add to the lower if you just pay attention to it from time to time. It’s funny because I just happened to rewatch the teaser that they put out three years ago for the next mass effect game, and now that dragon age is finished and released, I’m hoping that that will be BioWares next priority.
