Kenya president-elect calls again for unity amid election dispute

Kenya's President-elect William Ruto is again calling for unity - and says he's ready to get down to the business of governing. He has held a media conference in which he said people have chosen their leaders.
Kenya's electoral commission gave Ruto 50.4 percent of the vote.
But his opponent, Raila Odinga is disputing the result, saying he will challenge it in court.
Ruto says no Kenyan must be left behind.

After the promulgation of the new constitution that gave birth to devolution, Kenyans can now get services from their respective county governments, whether the President is from their region or not....
We just sailed through Covid -19 and the restrictions that came with it, the economy is not doing good.
We simply cannot afford any other crisis whether political or otherwise.

In case of any dispute, there are legal ways provided by the constitution like going to court.
