For a five minute video for general audience, that is a nicely done explanation. Of course you could talk on about varying degrees of background radiation on different places on earth, but your main point is safety assessment and you drove that point home. Well done.

Things like this sadden me because it reminds me of how bad the general education system is & how irrational people are. Some people will sit in a bar, chain smoke while getting drunk before they drive home & then they complain about nuclear power or gun laws saying it's killing people. 
Things they like to do will be rationalized & minimized while things they find emotionally scary will be blown out of proportion.

Fun fact: When you get an x-ray at the dentist you get the same amount of radiation as a 3 hour flight per round. The patients don't have to worry but that's why we step out of the room.

There was a documentary that showed that airline travel had around 10x more radiation levels than Fukushima Daiichi's surrounding areas.
