I overlooked some red flags in a previous relationship. She gas lite me making me feel I was perhaps being too paranoid. Only to find out a while later my gut feeling was correct. I now pay more attention to my instincts and disregard excuses.

My ex girlfriend threatened me with the statement that she is thinking about to end the relationship if I'm not reaching my goals fast. These goals were topics like a new job, having my own apartment and to work extra hours to gain more money. I ended up suffering from burnout and the fear that she could leave if I'm not performing good or fast enough. She told me that her behavior was necessary to motivate me or that I'm reacting too sensitive and playing the victim card when I justified myself. It felt more like to fulfill her needs that she is having the ideal boyfriend by her side who is financally more stable. After another act of her being not emotionally available for me because my results were not good enough for her, we ended the relationship with a big dispute.

I fell in love with her words, I haven't even met her yet and have sent her $6100 and she still needs $2900 to get her goods then come and meet me with her daughter, I can't afford to give her any more money, ive been looking for love for 3 years and have been scammed twice before, if this one isn't going to be real ill give up on everything and my family wonder why I find it hard to trust anyone anymore
I shouldn't have to be helping anyone out of their money problems
