Bought one yesterday for my Liberty from scooter west. Easy as described to swap out the mounts for the seat. To drill out the handle bar and tap, IF your not experienced with a hand drill have the shop do it. You will need to purchase for a one use application a tap, tap handle, drills, center punch and tap fluid. If you are experienced the bar end is a mild steel of some sort and drills & taps easy enough. About 45 min slow and easy...

Not a big fan of this style lock but Im glad theyre thinking and inventing stuff like this. The more styles of locks they invents for two wheelers the better. We need everything in the arsenal to stop horse thieves.

The problem now with all motorbikes and scooters is portable angle grinders have changed the game, they will cut through anything.

I would use two U-shape locks interlocked as handcuff to lock my scooter to fixtures such as light pole, fence, etc..

Whilst I agree with the comments about angle grinders, I’ll happily keep parking my scoot next to ones without disc locks and chains because ‘they don’t work’.
Nothing’s thief-proof, you just gonna make it harder to take than the one next to yours.
