So subversive I love it. The "unstoppable inky shadow force from beyond the univers with a scary face that's coming to consume us all" from stuff like The Fifth Element, but it acts entirely out of an alien sense of compassion and altruism.

I like how this faction is basically if you ever wanted to play the Protomolecule from The Expanse as an intelligent and dynamic alien race.

Damn i love the scene where she looks at the whole fleet and says "Everything is in order" it gives me goosebumps everytime. Its so well done and menacing but calming at the same time

This expansion has sucked up my whole weekend. I was playing Lego with my son and I made a UC ship from Lego, with rotating turrets. All black with blue highlights. My son thought it was so cool. He's not quite ready to ES2, but soon enough. :)

I like how the Pilgrims are still in the game. They were always an interesting faction to me, Maybe one day we will see Endless Space 2 take on features like you can find in Stellaris, with the ability to 'elevate' minor empires.

Ironically Amplitude avoided the "Over and out" mistake, unlike many other, more military focused works.
