I bought a couple of patterns through Ravelry for a similar-looking hat but neither one of them showed me how to join the two sides, how to add the label, how to cinch the top, how to sew on the button, or how to attach the pompom. This is the best, clearest, most accurate video I have seen on this, and after looking all over YouTube for one that showed me the things that the purchased patterns I bought just told me to "join, cinch, and attch" without showing me how. I love this hat! I've made 11 of them so far for Christmas gifts and I have 3 more to finish. I have the printed instructions, but I always come back to watch the way you seam the back- it's so good! Thank you for sharing this- I love it and it makes up beautifully with a bulky yarn. Most of the ones I've made are with the Bernat Softee Chunky, but I've also made two with Lion's Wool Ease Thick & Quick which I now think are my favorite- so soft and warm! Thank you, thank you!
