I’m from the UK and booked my lightning lanes 3 days out. Just change your location in the app to US and deny all access to the app to see your current location. Have fun! ♥️♥️

Preparing my Disney vacation now took me back to when I was prepping to take my SATs.

The bad news started when they started charging us to ride the rides in addition to paying for a ticket. We are now competing with other Disney guests to ride the rides based off of a pay wall.

its very easy to get around the international thing, I booked 7 days out from the UK a few weeks ago, on iPhone just need to turn off location services for the Disney app so it can't track you and then change your profile location to US, takes 30 seconds and works.

I’m glad hotel guests get the jump start. With all the perks being taken away, they needed to give us a decent perk for staying on property. However, it’s not right that international guests (who are also staying on property) can’t.

Even Korben Dallas couldn't figure out this Multipass.

Is it possible to do a video on glow cubes? Covering the shapes and where to find them in each of the parks? They are my favorite souvenir when I visit the parks.

Your videos are amazing! So much valuable content!

Here’s a trick I found (I used it the first week LLMP dropped so it could be changed now). When you’re in the park trying to get a fully booked LL, click on the ride you want and click LL. It’ll take you to that ride’s spot on the My Day screen. Tap the top of your screen and refresh, and it’ll bring you right back to that ride’s spot on the page. Keep doing this until there’s an opening. When you click that though, it’ll take you to a party selection page and will likely say that they’re all booked up, but stay on that page and keep clicking confirm. That way as soon as another LL opens up for that ride, you’ll immediately get it. Got many difficult LLs this way. It’s definitely time consuming and annoying, but it seems like that’s the best way to win this current system

The words "needlessly convoluted" come to mind

I'm wondering if a VPN could get around the country limitations for Multi Pass, something worth looking into

We used LLs last week during our trip with a 3 day window. Our day in HS was fine- however Animal Kingdom was a nightmare. Dinosaur broke down both times we were in line & we basically just lost that option. Previous Genie + was more fluid and included more options. It wasn't a good experience.

not gonna lie, Disney as of late is making me question if staying on site even has any perks left for the international guests at all, considering they also don't give discounts on magic band to international guests, nor let's them select Lightning Lanes, nor the extra evening hours if staying anywhere but deluxe.

I’ve been an annual pass holder for awhile. Being a pass holder is becoming nothing special. Since Covid, they’ve taken away the fast past, free photos and charge more. You don’t get early entry. Universal definitely appreciates their annual pass holders more than Disney. More perks to be a pass holder there

Disney, please adopt Universal’s fast pass system. Thank you!

We have just returned to the UK from a 14 day holiday at Disney World. We never used a LL once and never cued for longer than 40 minutes for a ride and that was for Tron on Tuesday when it was off virtual. We rode every ride that was operational in every park. We found a lot of the rides were no longer than 20 minutes which is prety much a walk on and a lot of the rides that were stated as being 40 & 50 minutes (e.g. 7 dwarves mine train) turned out to be around a 25 minute wait. I know it depends on the time of year you go as well as the time of day you do certain rides, but you don't have to use LL to still enjoy the parks.

I always liked Disney. But this is getting so complicated it makes the parks less enjoyable. I used to go every year in the 90s and 00s. There were less people in general and no need to plan everything out like is needed now. I don't know what the solution is since everyone wants to be able to ride everything but there are too many people for that. Maybe build another park or two elsewhere in the US to reduce the pressure on Disney World. Or just let less people in...

I felt as though lightning lane multipass was a waste for me at Disney Hollywood studios as an off property guest. I was so disappointed that I could never get a pass to slinky dog because it was blocked out.

With no DAS pass, the multipass seems to be the best way to hope not to have to do long standby lines which will leave me depleted in a few hours. I hope to parkhop after a midday lay down. That way, if I split my days, I can ride my favorites one morning and another afternoon during my visit while still benefitting from shorter waits. I could be wrong, but from my research it seems the most hopeful approach.

Kinda crazy how much time and anxiety is spent on something that basically saves you a little time on three rides per day. Like, a vacation isn't going to be -- or shouldn't be -- ruined because of three attractions. (EDIT: average of 3 good/popular rides.)
