Born 1997 and this was my fathers favorite punishment. He’d make me sit for hours though. It all had to be neat, had to look the same, had to feel like I meant it, had to be the front and back of a page. It was hell and my hands always hurt for a day or two after

Omfg I got in so much trouble talking in school by this one teacher and I literally had to write “silence is golden, let’s get rich” at least a million times throughout the year… needless to say I never learned my lesson 😂

I’m too young to have experienced this in school but my mom made me write lines when I was little and I honestly got excited about it because I loved writing lmao

That is what my step mom used to make me do. It has to be two pages front and back and I couldn’t do one word going down the page and then another. I have to write each sentence individually and if my handwriting wasn’t neat enough, she would tear it up and throw it away. Also I wouldn’t get a break while I did it, I had to keep writing constantly.
