I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to fall in love with my best friend.. We have been friends for almost three years now but I've never seen her as more than just a friend until now.. I've had this song in my playlist before but I didn't really pay attention much to the lyrics. Until recently, when I was driving home from hanging out with her and some friends. I clicked shuffle and this song came on. I can't help but ponder on how much this song fits in the situation that I am in right now... After my first huge break up(4yrs ago), I never thought that I was ever to reincarnate that feeling of love again. I thought that the only way I would fall in love again is when I least expect it. Now, that's exactly how it is going for me. Over the past months, we've been hanging out a lot lately and getting much closer than we have ever been before. That car ride back home was when I came to a realization that I am falling in love with my best friend. I was so lost from the lyrics of the song that it felt like I was floating and I totally lost complete sense that I was driving a vehicle. Fast forward to a week after that event, I can't help but think about her every minute of the day. The only problem is that... wait for it... (picture me in tears right now) she has a boyfriend.... I respect everyone's relationship and I don't do anything that would ruin her relationship. That means I cannot ever tell her how I feel about her. It just pains me because I have to distance myself from her because I just can't help but fall in love with her. All I can do is whisper how I feel about her in the wind hoping that someday, when the right time comes, she will hear it.. .

Two years have passed since I wrote this comment. It's hard to believe how much time have passed. Although, fortunately, time have been on my side all along. A whisper in the wind, I thought, was too insignificant to make a change, too discrete to be heard. Three word were all I needed her to hear... Maybe these three words bear a weight too heavy to be carried by the wind... A year passed and I finally had the chance to make a move (she was now single). We started hanging out even more and in those times, it felt like a movie. There was something growing between the both of us like a growing flame that can't be extinguished. It was beyond my awareness that those three words that I have been wanting to tell her would arrive to me. "I love you" she wrote. I was shocked at first, but after all the times we have spent together, I knew we both felt the same way towards each other. We made a year two months ago and I have never been so happy to be in love. The adventures, the new experiences, the dates, the laughs, every minute with her is like a drug. I love you Cheyenne and I will continue to keep loving you until the end of time. Happy anniversary and Valentines day baby. mahal kita <3
