It's surreal knowing this comes from a hollywood movie.

My theater saw the little figure of Godzilla and was happy...
When they saw Mechagodzilla... They exploded.

This is yet another perfect example of how threatening Godzilla's theme can be. It sounds heroic, menacing, and powerful all at the same time.

Going in I knew that there going to be a Godzilla reference in this movie, but I had no idea that they were going to be playing the original Godzilla theme. That made seeing this movie worth it, amongst other things.

When Mechagodzilla showed up I turned into a little girl squealing in my seat. And for a few seconds I was hoping Godzilla himself would show up, or even Ultraman. Yeah that was hoping too much but seeing Mecha-G fighting was the absolute joy! That scene made me feel like a kid again.

Spielberg still knows how to make magic after all these years.
