Rahul Gandhi didn't say what he is accused of: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on March 13 backed Rahul Gandhi over his remarks about Indian democracy. While speaking to ANI, Shashi Tharoor said, “Rahul Gandhi didn't say what he is accused of saying. He specified that this is a problem for us in India and we will deal with it internally. He specifically said that we are not asking anyone else to do anything, but we are only asking to be aware because Indian democracy is a global public good. I don't see anything here he needs to apologise for.”
“We all have the experience with the friends in the BJP to distort both the content and the intend of what we have said in order to make a national political issue out of it,” alleged Shashi Tharoor.

Rahul is the one distorting everything.

When Jaishankar sir said "we're building border infrastructure so we can defend ourselves from China which is a bigger economic power", Rahul conveniently missed the important part of it and accused Jaishankar sir of cowardice.

Dr. Tharoor is better than this and should pick whom to defend. Rahul has become the Imran Khan of India. It doesn't look good on the republic of India.

Rahul Ghandy certainly has transgressed those elements of Nationalism with his naive remarks at the Cambridge. Any sensible unbiased patriotic Indian can sense this nuances.

And people like Sashi Tharoor defending Rahul's stupid remarks only proves that intellectual persons sometimes have to shed off their intellect in politics.
