EPRA to sit on global energy transition committee

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has been nominated to the Global Regulatory Energy Transition Accelerator, RETA. EPRA’s Director General Daniel Kiptoo will chair the steering committee for a term of two years to finish in 2026.
RETA, launched in 2021 at COP26, is a crucial resource for energy regulators worldwide, offering knowledge products and regulatory tools to support the development of sustainable, affordable, and secure energy systems. EPRA, now in its second term on the global body, says it will continue to utilize the position to enhance its knowledge on global best practices on clean energy capabilities.
