In my opinion its dance... Its not about catchy moves but about dance how you feel the music.. And Roxrite feels it better...

Best explanation I can offer in limited space:
1. Multiple crashes by Lil G, these are professionals after all.
2. Better musicality by Roxrite (danced to the beats better)
3. More complete sets by Roxrite with beginning, middle, end.
4. More originality by Roxrite, he gets power in, nice footwork flavor, and more levels
5. Honestly we have seen better sets from Lil G, he's usually pretty uncanny.
6. I say enjoy it and don't worry so much, there was a diverse panel of judges, 2012 is a new year.

Oh my god, at 2:03, how Roxrite took the beat... he didn't killing it but, woah, it's calling style and his the only one to do this

I think one of the sickest things about Roxrite was that he went first in every round he battled. He made his opponents battle on his terms where he mastered the floor work and style. He won because he battled smart. Props to roxrite

Roxrite was totally worth it! Lil G only did some normal power moves with special transitions. Roxrite had everything; the freezes, the footwork and the power moves!! Roxrite had a way better technique.

Lil' G is a phenom, but inconsistent. Roxrite is a master. He knows his style and never misses. He's not just footwork either, though if you know anything about actually bboying, his versatility and creativity are mind blowing. It bugs me that people try to write him off because he doesn't live for the airflare or 1990s. Bboying is more than air power.

Lil G did great, we all know that, but look at the competition as a whole. He did flares the whole night.

We know the kid can do flares, but what else? The judges have their reasons.

I enjoy watching classic clips of Roxrite defeating so called top bboys.
with lil g, you can predict a mile away him starting off his set with an air flair of some sort. his sets is very predictable.
with Roxrite, your have no idea what direction his going to go.
gotta give it up to Roxrite for following the true essence of bboying. OG Bboy ken Swift showed how it should be done in the 80s and 90s, and Roxrite continued that original style

Roxrite's transitions are flawlessly clean.
