if you like sad things just read the manga beginning after the end, the manga show a lot of characters in the start of the story and kill almost all of the protagonist's friends near the end of the LN. The manga has 161 chapters and the LN about 300, it is enough for the reader like atlest one character and they make a way to kill them.
