While it's sad to see Institute's unwillingness to make amends, it's very satisfying to have Teachers like You leading us in raising issue for students. It's high time that we remind ICAI not to take students for granted and undertake basic reforms to ensure trust in the exams and ICAI. Dear Praveen Sir, I totally agree with your each and every viewpoint.
I have also personally seen more than 200 copies in last 2 attempts specially and found that for an answer where the student should get more than 70% marks (say 3/3.5 marks) has got only 0.5 or 1 marks, which is totally injustice with him. A student scoring 25/30 marks in MCQs is getting 2-3-4-5-6 marks out of 70.
Reform is a need of time and I am personally with you and students in particular. Regards - Om

100 marks mcqs is the only and last option for students.
was part of the dharna before Covid .
totally unnecessary for the fine by ICAI. i request all the newly qualified CAs not to vote for these CCMs etc to raise this issue before them
paper checkers just take 150 Rs per paper and just 10-15 min to check one pdf.
the ques of SFM was intentionally given by ICAI to deduct marks for all

I am someone who failed CA final may 22 exam with marginal marks and i believe if the mistakes in paper checking were ratified. I would have cleared the exams. Thanks for being our voice sir

Don't think this is voice of just Parveen sir, this is voice of all CA students and teachers and also the families of all those students who are suffering equally.
CA is already losing its position in job market as students are pursuing ACCA, CPA, CFA etc. type of actual world class courses.
ICAI has to wake up and improve sooner or later, there is no place for those who don't adopt change timely. If CA has to maintain and grow, it will have to bring reforms immediately.
If they don't change now, students will move to other alternatives which has already begun. Students are actually suffering, please try to understand.
It is a reality that students are actually talented and have conceptual clarity but because of short comings in exam structure and paper checking they are suffering poorly.

Sir best thing we can do to protest against ICAI is to attend WCOA nov 2022 to be held at mumbai with a silent satyagraha symbol like a black strip on our arm 😢
