Love that you're only going to back her at 4! That's the age I'd start as well (with only in-hand work before), but most want their horses to be ridden as soon as they turn 3 or even before, as if a horse had no value until you can sit on it.
Missy looks great, her feet look great and she seems very happy with you!

My sisters farrier is really patient because we got a horse from some people we know, as a companion horse for our horse the mare we got from them, needed her hooves done and our farrier said that it loked like another farrier tried and gave up yet our farrier didnt give and he go the job done and that mare is a heavy horse she was overweight but now she is learning things she didnt know before we got her

If you say not doing anything do you count grooming? Cause I always counted grooming as "work" with my filly which just meant I didn't do it for too long at a time because I didn't want to overwhelm her. But I did do it before two. Also halter wearing.
