I recently picked up untold day and night because I am always in the hunt of books that may be Murakamieque. This book is so nuanced that I feel that different people will interpret it in different ways depending upon what is going on in their lives. In my mind, this book reminds me how much memory can be deceptive. Our mind always reduce people from our past into little idiosyncrasies that blend in to create a single breathing being. I feel that I have missed out few things since I am not altogether that familiar with their regular myths(despite being a huge kdrama fan😋), I do think there was lot of folklore weaved into the narrative too.

Hi Emma! I have decided I am going to attempt to catch up on the Dickens vs Tolstoy book club by starting with January and February's reads this month! It's going to be tough but I absolutely love Russian literature and I have adored Dickens writing in the past so I think it'll be lots of fun. A good voice to fall asleep to is Stephen Fry. Mythos and all Harry Potter books.
Also cherry juice, turn the heat on for 10-15 minutes before you want to sleep and limit coffee mid afternoon onwards.
